The Parthenon in Athens, Greece is a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena.

Built in 432 BC it is hard to fathom how the ancients accomplished this great feat of engineering. I think it should be visited on a picture perfect sunny day to explore all of the temples and to see the views of the surrounding city.
